PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser cavity capable of stabilizing the output of laser beams. SOLUTION: This laser cavity is provided with a YAG rod 1, an exciting light source 2 for irradiating the YAG rod 1 with exciting light, a rod holder 3 externally fitted to the end of the YAG rod 1 and provided with a large outer diameter on a longitudinal direction intermediate part, a cylindrical spacer 4 for circumscribing the large outer diameter of the respective rod holder 3 and surrounding the part near the fitting end of the YAG rod 1 of the rod holder 3 in a peripheral direction, and a long cylindrical flow tube 5 for inscribing the respective spacers 4 at both ends and surrounding the YAG rod 1 for almost entire length in the peripheral direction. The spacer 4 is provided with a sealing member 16 tightly adhered to the entire periphery of the outer peripheral surface of the end of the flow tube 5, the mixing of a coolant S1 distributed through a space 14 inside the flow tube 5 and the coolant S2 distributed through the space 15 on the outside is evaded, and the temperature of the coolant S1 is kept fixed. |
