PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for diagnosing service life of a fluorescent lamp capable of finding the service life for replacing the fluorescent lamp lit by an electronic starter. SOLUTION: Cumulative current-carrying time of a fluorescent lamp is measured by a cumulative current-carrying time measurement means 2, and the measured cumulative current-carrying time is compared to predetermined time previously stored in a storage means 3, and when the cumulative current- carrying time reaches the predetermined time, indication that replacement time has come is displayed on an instruction display means 6. |
