PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive temperature characteristic thermistor assembly at low cost, capable of efficiently transmitting heat originated from a positive temperature characteristic thermistor element to an object of heating, and a heating device using the same. SOLUTION: An insulating member 4 is made to abut against the electrode layer 1b of a positive temperature characteristic thermistor element 1, equipped with electrode layers 1a and 1b formed on its primary surfaces through the intermediary of an electrode plate 3, this assembly is inserted into a U-shaped groove 2a cut in a conductive heat-radiating member 2, coming into close contact with the inner wall of the groove 2a and leaving no space between them for formation of a positive characteristic thermistor assembly. This positive temperature characteristic thermistor assembly is housed in a bottomed cylindrical case 5, which comes into close contact with it and leaving not space between them for the formation of a heating device.
