PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the number of articles to be sold cannot be increased in the conventional article sales via the Internet. SOLUTION: The articles are sold via the Internet by using a server 2 comprising a storing means 4 for storing the price information on the price of the articles to be sold by subscription, a transmitting means 5 for transmitting the price information to a user side terminal unit 3 when an access is made to the price information from the user side terminal unit 3 via the Internet, and a purchase receiving means 6 for receiving the application for the purchase of the article from the user side terminal unit 3. The price information indicates that the price of the article continuously or discontinuously increases as the time is elapsed, or the number of the established sales by subscription is increased, and the amount to be paid for the purchase by the user is determined by the price information and the timing at which the purchase receiving means 6 receives the application for the purchase.
