SOLUTION: Corresponding to latitudes and longitudes, general addresses are stored as a latitude/longitude information database 233. Corresponding to latitude/longitude information, map information is stored as a map database 234. Station names are stored as a station information database 232 corresponding to their addresses or latitude/longitude information. Then, the address of the set destination is converted to latitude/longitude information while using the latitude/longitude information database 233, and the latitude/longitude information corresponding to the set station name is acquired by using the latitude/ longitude information database 233 and/or station information database 232. Then, the map data including the destination is acquired from the map database 234 and displayed as a map, the destination is displayed on the map by using the latitude/longitude information, the station is displayed on the map by using the latitude/longitude information, and the route between the destination and the station is displayed on the map.</p> |
