<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote subscriber accommodating unit that can effectively utilize a channel in the case of handling an Internet call. SOLUTION: When a subscriber 1 makes an Internet connection request, an exchange 10 requests a CPU 8 to transmit Internet data from the subscriber 1 to an IP termination circuit 6 via a time division switch 4. Thus, a signal from the subscriber 1 is sent to the IP termination circuit 6 via a subscriber circuit 3 and the time division switch 4, where the signal is terminated and processed into an IP. The data processed into the IP are transferred to the exchange 10 via an IP multiplexer transfer/demultiplexer circuit 7 via the time division switch 4. Furthermore, the IP data from the exchange 10 is terminated by the IP multiplexer transfer/demultiplexer circuit 7, demultiplexed into the Internet data for each subscriber, the demultiplexed Internet data are fed to the IP termination circuit 6 and fed to the subscriber 1 via the time division switch 4 and the subscriber circuit 3.</p> |
