<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming device in which a developer is prevented from scattering from a nip between a developer carrier and a developer regulating member. SOLUTION: Starting torque (T) needed for starting the rotation of a developing sleeve (sleeve) 110 from a stationary state is larger than the maximum torque (μmax.P.r) that is transmitted to the sleeve 110 side when a developer regulating roller (roller) 130 is rotated; therefore, the sleeve 110 is prevented from rotating with the roller 130. As a result, when the roller 130 rotates, its surface slides rotatably with the surface of the sleeve 110, thereby crushing and pulverizing a compressed aggregated lump of the developer which exists in a wedge part on the upstream side in the surface moving direction of the sleeve 110 in the nip between the sleeve 110 and the roller 130.</p> |
