PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of further suppressing power consumption in the case of an energy saving mode (ESS mode) and satisfying energy saving standard. SOLUTION: The communication equipment interrupts a main power source and simultaneously reduces voltage of a standby power source to second standby voltage lower than first standby voltage in the case of the energy saving mode (ESS mode).
