PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a multi-valued recording with high density by effectively evading the deterioration of the error rate as to an optical disk, optical disk device and optical disk recording method. SOLUTION: This method is carried out in such a manner that a pit is prepared a repeated pitch equal to the resolution of a reproduction system or lower and multi-valued data are recorded by the change of this pit.
