PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can position an object by converging its moving speed within a permissible extent without lowering its moving speed. SOLUTION: In a control unit for positioning which drives an object and moves and positions it from the first position to the aimed second position, the present invention is a control unit which executes a dither control so that when the above object reaches within a permissible area of the aimed second position, a drive in a reverse direction is given, thus applying a brake on the object.
