PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image printing quality by surely erasing the magnetism of after images and residual toners. SOLUTION: This magnetic printer has a toner developing section which develops the magnetic latent image formed on a magnetic recording drum, a transfer section which transfers the toner image to a recording medium, a fixing section which fixes the transferred toner image, a removing member which removes the residual toners after the transfer and a cleaning section having degaussing members (22 and 23) which erase the magnetism of the after image and the residual toners. The magnetic printer is provided with temperature adjusting mechanisms (15 and 16) for adjusting the temperature of the degaussing members.
