PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy terminal for meter-reading gas meter capable of avoiding a human error and realizable from the viewpoint of cost. SOLUTION: This handy terminal for meter-reading gas meter is provided with a first interface 4 corresponding to a gas meter 2 incorporating a microcomputer, a second interface 5 corresponding to a computer 3 storing data of each gas meter 2, and a data conversion part 10 converting meter-read data received from the gas meter 2 and security data into data transmissible to the computer 3.
