PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a price settlement system using a non-contact type IC tag capable of preventing a customer from putting the goods that he is going to purchase into a shopping basket provided in a supermarket and at a volume sales store and bringing them about in the store and performing price settlement processing for the purchased goods at a check-out counter efficiently in a short time at a counter in the supermarket and at the volume sales store. SOLUTION: This price settlement system is provided with the non-contact type IC tag having a storage means storing at least price data of goods and merchandise code data capable of specifying goods and a handy terminal unit having a reading and writing means for reading data stored in the storage means and writing into the storage means, a calculation means for calculating total price data of price data read by the reading and writing means, a display means for displaying data read by the reading and writing means and the total price data calculated by the calculation means, and a storage means for storing the data in the reading and writing means and the total price data in the calculation means. |
