PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of disorder of a rhythm or double beating by compensating beat positions after compressing/stretching of the time base at the time of time base compressing/stretching processing of a music signal. SOLUTION: An input signal x(t) of music is inputted to an attack position detection part 1, and attack positions are detected there. A beat position detection part 2 obtains beat positions in accordance with detected attack position information and an average value of power in each attack position. A time base compressing/stretching processing part 3 performs time base compressing/ stretching processing with respect to a signal between beat positions detected by the beat position detection part 2 out of the input signal x(t). |
