<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate tape tension control device advantageous for miniaturization of the size and reduction in price by improving the linearity of the detection output of tape tension in a magnetic tape device. SOLUTION: This device is provided, as tension detection means, a rotary member 1 rotated according to the tension value of a magnetic tape 10, a permanent magnet 3 attached to one end on the rotary member, and two hole elements 4 and 5 disposed along the rotational locus 50 of the permanent magnet 3. The differential output of the two hole elements is changed nearly linearly with respect to a rotational angle.</p> |
