PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for more surely authenticating users that can psychologically prevent unauthorized access by avoiding a name of a communicator and a communication path from being deleted although a provider can simply be accessed because a telephone line is used for the access. SOLUTION: A user personal computer 1 acting like a caller calls and accesses (3) a provider 9 and once interrupts the access. The access is sent to a receiver 5 of the provider 9, a sub computer 7 reads an ID2 of the user personal computer 1 displayed on a number display device 6 and the provider 9 inversely accesses the ID2. This inverse access is called a back call 4 and the sub computer 7 makes a formal access to a main computer 8 when the back call 4 is successful. Then the provider 9 accesses a home page 10. In this case, the provider 9 transmits a confirmed E-mail address of the user at the same time of the access, and the home page 10 confirms the user personal computer 1 and starts a transaction.
