<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the synchronization defect between received serial data and a reproduced clock signal by the reproduced clock signal whose frequency is lower than that of the received serial data. SOLUTION: A transmission section 10 transmits serial data S10 including a data stream with a prescribed word length and word delimiter data synchronously with a clock signal CLK2. A serial-parallel conversion circuit 21A stores the serial data S10 synchronously with a clock signal CLK3A reproduced by the serial data S10, divides the stored serial data S10 to have a prescribed word length and outputs the result as data S21. An error detection section 25A detects the word delimiter data included in the data S21 for detection of occurrence of a synchronization defect between the received serial data and the reproduce clock sign in the case that position data denoting the detection position are dissident as to two word delimiter data with the same data stream inbetween.</p> |
