摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized flat wound electrode cell. SOLUTION: A flat wound electrode cell of this invention has a flat wound electrode 4, and a positive electrode terminal 1 and a negative electrode terminal 2 having shafts 11 and 21. The positive electrode terminal 1 and the negative electrode terminal 2 are integrally connected to a layered surface of each projecting end 411 and 421 of the flat wound electrode 4 in the condition that the shafts 11 and 21 are extended in the direction crossing the projecting direction of each projecting end 411 and 421. A radial distance from the core of the flat wound electrode to the most outer surface opposite to an abutment surface abutting on each projecting end of each shaft 11 and 21 is shorter than a radial distance from the core of the electrode part of the flat wound electrode 4 to the peripheral surface. In this flat wound electrode cell, a difference of thickness is generated between the projecting ends and the electrode, and each shaft of the positive electrode and the negative electrode is housed in a space generated by this difference, and the whole of the flat wound electrode cell is thereby miniaturized.
