PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile personal computer which can be used efficiently by more than one person and which has a hibernation function which can save their job situations. SOLUTION: A personal computer 1 has a means for hibernation shaft/return 8 which saves a memory data to an outside storage when a user stops operation, and moves back the memory data from the outside storage when the user restarts operation. It also has a power supply switch 3 which activates the means for the hibernation shaft/return, an interface means 6 which fixes the outside storage, and when the means for hibernation return 8 is started, a means for checking password 9 is included which displays a screen for inputting the user's password, checks whether the input password and a password stored in the outside storage are identical or not, and activates the means for hibernation shift/return 8.
