PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly change the display form of text according to the progression of a musical piece at a small data memory quantity. SOLUTION: Text data LE and data TD indicating the generation timing of the respective characters of the text are stored in a RAM 4. The data LE and TD are read out by program processing with CPU 1 and the text is displayed on a display circuit 11 in accordance with the text data LE. The display timing of the text is regulated by the data TD indicating the generation timing and the change of the display form at the respective characters is started from the generation timing. The display form changes by each prescribed amounts per prescribed time. Then, the display form of the text changes gradually according to the progression of the musical piece. The reading out of the data LE and TD is controlled by the tempo of the musical piece. When the next generation timing comes during the course of changing the display form, all of the unchanged segments of the display form are changed. |
