PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate useless processing for improving the productivity of a system by avoiding recovery processing in overflow when there is no input image information that is not accumulated at this point even if memory overflow is detected by the count result of a counter means for detecting the memory overflow, or the like. SOLUTION: When a specific count value is reached, judgment conditions where the write request of a compression image exists or not when the specific count value is reached are added without immediately carrying out error processing such as the instruction of recompression, thus avoiding the error processing when the compression processing of the entire image information is completed by the specific count value, and hence eliminating the need of the recompression processing and improving the productivity of the entire system.
