PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article dispensing unit for an automatic vending machine easily responding to articles with various lengths by adapting it to various widths of article carrier passages. SOLUTION: This unit 1 is so constituted that at least, one of a plurality of frames 2 is slid transversely so as to fit to the width of an article carrier passages, or the length of the article A and simultaneously, at least one of a plurality of dispending levers 5 is slid so as to fit to the sliding distance of the frame 2. This constitution allows the dispensing lever 5 to hold the whole length of the article A appropriately by the sliding adjustment in any cases where the article A is long or short, or the width of the article carrier passage S is narrow or wide. A connecting shaft 8 enables the linkage of the plurality of dispensing levers 5. This high generality structure enables the unitization, which accelerates the low cost.
