PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized bill receiving/paying device capable of preventing an obstacle caused by clogging of foreign matters such as a coin, a clip or the like intermingled with bills. SOLUTION: This device has a formation in which a feed roller and a conveyance guide are faced each other on the intersection point between a plane in contact with the feed roller for sending out a bill from a separation opening not allowing passage of a coin by a first guide and a second guide forming a separation opening for sending out a bill and the conveyance guide for conveying a bill sent out from the separation opening oppositely to the feed roller.
