PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical demux (demultiplexer) device that has a small number of circuit components, employs a simple circuit and has a small load onto an electronic circuit. SOLUTION: An absorption type optical modulator 2 receives an optical pulse received by the demux device and an RF signal whose bit rate is an integer fraction of a bit rate of the optical pulse. The absorption type optical modulator 2 absorbs the optical pulse received in response to the RF signal, generates a photo current in response to the absorbed luminous quantity. A current monitor section 5 monitors the photo current and a phase control section 6 controls a delay unit 8 that delays the RF signal so as to minimize the monitoring result of the photo current. |
