<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image distribution method and device for distributing to audience via networks a feature volume obtained from the result of content analysis, which requires much time, labor, and know-how for analysis and is conducted by the service center side. SOLUTION: In this invention, a distribution request for image contents and a feature volume for the relevant image contents is issued from a user to the center. At the center, along with extracting the image contents corresponding to the distribution request from an image archive that stores image contents composed of specific items including the image kind information, the feature volume corresponding to the relevant image contents is extracted from a feature volume storage means to be distributed to the issuing user of the distribution request.</p> |
