PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease a user's load of selecting and arranging an image when producing an album. SOLUTION: The sheet number of images required for producing an album is photographed, and image data S0 representing this image and incidental information H representing a photographing date, etc., of the image data S0 are recorded in a record medium 11 corresponding to each other. A data read means 21 reads the image data S0 and incidental information H, and a template T to be used for producing the album is read out from a template storing means 22. An image can be inserted into each image insertion region of the template corresponding to a photographing order, and the image is inserted into each image insertion region corresponding to the photographing order by referring to the incidental information H to produce synthesized image data M. The synthesized image data M is output as an album print in a printer 13.
