PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problem in a conventional sign certification that the certainty of personal identification deteriorates, when the sign inputted by a user is peeped by an ill-intended third person, who imitates the sign to log in to abuse it. SOLUTION: To solve the above problem, in this sign processing method, whether the inputted sign satisfies a prescribed condition or not, is judged in the control so as to display on a display means, and when it is judged that the sign satisfys the prescribed condition the display is controlled so that the sign to be displayed on the display means is hardly seen from the third person.
