PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the address to be expanded corresponding to an initiator module transferring data. SOLUTION: When an initiator S201 provided with the address terminal of 24 bits accesses a target X203 provided with the address terminal of 23 bits, a router 105 outputs '0' to an address expansion enable signal. When an initiator T202 provided with the address terminal of 20 bits is to access the target X203, on the other hand, the router 105 outputs '1' to the address expansion enable signal. Then the address expansion enable signal is '0', the address expansion is not performed inside by the target X203 and when the address expansion enable signal is '1', the address expansion is performed inside.
