The tank consists of a shell with an outlet port (3) in its base and a control assembly with a safety valve (4A), an outlet valve (4B) and a coupling (4C). The outlet port leads to a chamber (5) formed by a housing (5A) fixed to the tank's shell and extending sideways to a vertical wall (12) on which the control assembly is mounted. The housing is fixed over a large cut-away section of the tank's lower shell, and the outlet port is oval in shape.
