PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a sound absorbing and insulating material using lightweight foam concrete is provided, which is characterized in that a lightweight aerated concrete, sound-absorbing material, is produced through a high pressure steam curing, and one side of the concrete is coated with mortar, plasters or coaters for insulating sound. CONSTITUTION: The lightweight aerated concrete, a sound-absorbing material(1), is produced by pre-mixing calcareous and siliceous materials, adding a foaming agent and admixtures, molding, drying and steam curing at high temperature and high pressure. The sound-absorbing and insulating material is manufactured by spraying and plastering the concrete, sound-absorbing material, with a sound-insulating material(2) such as mortar, plasters based on cement or coaters based on acryl emulsion and cement to be 5cm of thickness.
