PURPOSE: A heating apparatus for air conditioner is provided to prevent accident by arranging a safety mesh to the front surface of the heater so as to prevent a user from contacting the heater during heating operation. CONSTITUTION: A heating apparatus comprises a cabinet(51) having an air outlet port(54) formed at the upper portion of the cabinet; a heater(61) installed inside of the air outlet port of the cabinet, in such a manner that the heater is inclined from a blower(57) toward the air outlet port, wherein the heater heats the air being discharged; a heater support unit fixed inside of the cabinet, and where the heater is installed; and a safety mesh(62) fixed to the heater support unit at the location spaced apart forward from the heater, and which prevents users from contacting the heater. The heater support unit has a fixing portion for fixation of the safety mesh, and the fixing portion is protruded such that the safety mesh is spaced apart from the heater. |
