An apparatus and method to complete a lateral wellbore that can be utilized for existing or new wells. The apparatus can be set in tension with positive confirmation on surface of correct orientation and position. Additionally, t he apparatus does not restrict the internal diameter of the liner or the centra l wellbore and permits full access to both the lateral and the primary wellbor e below the junction. The invention includes a tie back assembly (140) dispose d at an upper end of a liner string (135). The tie back assembly (140) include s a hanger (150), a packer (145) and a tubular housing (175). The housing includes a liner window (155) formed in a wall thereof to permit access to t he lower primary wellbore. An inner tube (185) is disposed within the housing a nd includes a key (180) disposed on an outer surface for alignment with a windo w (105) formed in a wall of the casing and a no-go obstruction (190) with is constructed and arranged to contact a lower portion of the casing window to axially locate the tie back assembly in the primary wellbore.
