<p>A digital broadcast network (1) operating in a hierarchical mode is described. The network (1) includes means (35) for classifying the data types making up the content to be broadcast. In accordance with the classification, the network (1) transmits the data types in an appropriate mode. In addition, there is described a method of defining a set of profiles in accordance with which content of a particular data type is assigned to a particular mode for transmission.</p> |
