The head (3) of the screw hook is detachably fastened to the shank (4) by a fine threaded connection. The hook head has a connecting neck (5) co-axial with the shank and with an external thread on its free end for screwing into the internal thread of the shank. The connecting neck has an outer contour which in the main coincides with the outer contour of the shank. The shank and/or the intermediate section may have a hexagonal profile. Several shanks of different lengths may be optionally connected to the hook heads.
