The method involves driving the end stage(s) (3) via a data bus (2) with a controler (1), whereby a confirmation signal is placed on the data bus after receiving a control signal from the controler. The confirmation signal is received by the controler and used for synchronization between the controler and the end stage. A CAN bus can be used as the data bus. Independent claims are also included for the following: a device for implementing the method and an end stage for control using the method.
