GAS GOVERNOR

PURPOSE: A gas governor is provided to reduce the size and price and to improve heat resistance without a diaphragm. CONSTITUTION: A valve slit(62a) is formed in a cylindrical wall(62) dividing a gas inflow chamber to be communicated with a gas outflow chamber. A cylindrical valve body(63) through which the gas in the gas inflow chamber flow in is slidably installed on the cylindrical wall. When the valve body moves to a specific axial position, an opening degree of the valve body laid on an opening(63a) of the valve body is reduced. One axial end of the valve body is closed, and a secondary gas pressure in the gas outflow chamber is applied to the outer face of a closed end(63b). The valve body is pressurized in a direction by the pressure difference between a primary gas pressure applied to the inner face of the closed end and the secondary gas pressure. A spring member(67) elastically supporting the valve body in the other direction is installed. The pressurizing force due to pressure difference and elasticity of the spring move the valve body in an equilibrium point.
