PURPOSE: To provide a building method of a double hull structure capable of surely protecting an outer wall by a deflection preventive material, for example, when a plate-like ice lump collides with the outer wall in an ice floe sea area and a double hull structure block allowed to weld a great part by an automatic welder without performing complicated-shaped welding in a narrow space. CONSTITUTION: The deflection preventive material is arranged in the lengthwise direction of a ship on an inner wall, the deflection preventive material is arranged in the right-angled direction to the lengthwise direction of the ship on an outer wall, the deflection preventive material arranged on the inner wall penetrates through a floor stretched in a double hull in a cross section of the ship, and is supported on the floor, the deflection preventive material arranged on the outer wall penetrates through a longitudinal through girder longitudinally inserted into the double hull in the lengthwise direction of the ship, and is supported on the longitudinal through girder. The deflection preventive material a ranged on the outer wall is penetrated through a deep longitudinal stiffener longitudinally passed in the lengthwise direction of the ship, and is supported on the deep longitudinal stiffener.
