LC MODULE

PURPOSE: An LC(Liquid Crystal) module is provided to prevent dangers of short by electrically connecting each electrode of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel directly with a TCP(Tape Carrier Package) without using an ACF(Anisotropic Conductive Film) having conductive balls distributed irregularly. CONSTITUTION: An LC module includes an LCD panel and a couple of PCBs(Printed Circuit Board) connected with the LCD panel electrically. The PCBs are arranged at both sides near the LCD panel and connected to an electric pad(10) of the LCD panel through a TCP. An irregular part(11) is formed on the surface of the electrode pad. The irregular part is deposited with larger thickness than one of the electric pad and formed through photolithography and etching processes. The electrode pad except the irregular part has the set thickness while the irregular part has thickness of about 3-4 micrometers preferably. An electric pad(20) of the TCP is contacted directly to the electric pad(10) of the LCD panel having the irregular part. To prevent the TCP electric pad from being separated from the LCD electric pad by simple contact, the electric pads are contacted by thermal bonding type using a thermosetting resin(30) or a tape. The irregular part has no movability like conductive balls of an ACF.
