casting of hollow articles designed for manufacture of cooled metal structures of metallurgical units. SUBSTANCE: to form internal channels of article, for instance, coolers, hollow members with frozen-on lining slag on their external surface are installed in mold. Hollow members and lining are made of material used for article casting. Metal is poured into mold, cooled and ready casting is withdrawn from mold.
