<p>Apparatus for storing items within vehicle compartments that can be manipulated into an operative position and a closed position with a within a vehicle compartment floor (14) and having a surface that is exposed to the vehicle compartment when the apparatus is in an operative (i.e., open) position. A rear panel (30) is pivotally attached to the base (20) and is movable between a closed position overlying (20) the base surface and an open position substantially normal to the base (20) surface. End panels (39A, 39B) are movably attached to respective end portions of the rear panel (30). The end panels (39a, 39d) are movable between a stored position in face-to-face relation with the rear panel (30) and an operative position disposed substantially normal to the base (20) surface and to the rear panel (30). One or more partition panels (40) that are movably attached to either the rear panel (30) or to the base (20) surface, may be provided.</p> |
