The terminal has an insulating housing body (10) with at least two openings extending through the housing body in the longitudinal direction (X) to accommodate terminal bodies and clamp bolts (18). The terminal body has a connection chamber into which a solder pin (40) contact flap (44) and a conductor can be inserted via openings (30,32) in opposing side walls. A longitudinal axis (L) of the solder pin is orthogonal to the longitudinal axial direction of the through opening in the mounted state of the connection terminal and the contact flap is joined to the solder pin via a Z- or S- section part. Independent claims are also included for the following: a use of the terminal for clamping contact with relay contact pins.
