PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for processing an authentication of an electronic document using the Internet is provided to improve reliability law information. CONSTITUTION: An e-mail server(100) receives log-in information transmitted from a client computer(600) connected to the Internet(500). The e-mail server(100) generates e-mail document data and web document data. In addition, the e-mail server(100) transmits the data to the client computer(600). A web server(200) transmits script translator information to the e-mail server(100). The web server(200) collects information from a contents authentication database(410) and generates documents. After that, the web server(200) transmits the documents to the client computer(600). A database server(300) allocates and processes the e-mail document data transmitted from the e-mail server(100). A database(400) connected to the database server(300) stores determined information transmitted from the database server(300). The database(400) includes the contents authentication database(410), a member information database(420), a credit payment database(430), an agreement document database(440) and a contract document database(450).
