PURPOSE: A method and a system for automatically changing member information using a web browser cache are provided to increase the convenience of a user by enabling the user to select a site for changing the user's information through a program module capable of automatically changing the information without the need for visiting the site of which the user became a member. CONSTITUTION: A user confirms whether there's a program module capable of automatically changing the user's information. In case that the program module isn't installed, the user downloads and installs the program module(S410). The user drives the program module and inputs password groups managed by the user(S420). The user inputs personal information(S430). Catalog information on file directories in which each site catalog is stored is displayed in the program module(S440). In case that the user selects a site necessary for changing the user's information, a new site is added. After that, a site catalog is added and deleted(S450). The user connects to each site and performs a log-in(S460). The user's information is updated through a member information database of the web site connected by the user(S470). A result of the change is outputted to the user's PC(S480).
