<p>The present invention provides substituted thieno[2,3-b]pyrrolidin-5-ones of formula (I) wherein R?1, R2, and R3¿ have the values given in the specification. The compounds are useful as inhibitors of cellular production of tumour necrosis factor (TNF-α) and as antiproliferative agents and, therefore, may find use in the treatment of neuro-degenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer or inflammatory diseases.</p> |
