The invention relates to a sliding bearing with an embedded solid lubricant. Said sliding bearing consists of a ceramic material with excellent resistance to temperatures of up to 1000 DEG C, in which the solid lubricant is embedded in cavities which are open to the functional surface. The inventive sliding bearings are suitable for high temperature applications and for use in corrosive and aggressive media.
