Machine has a cylindrical housing with a lower edge with an axially adjacent grinding plate and an annular braking arrangement between the plate and the edge, supported on the plate via an elastic lip and able to exert a braking force in it. The braking arrangement has a suction chamber inside the housing near the grinding plate and sealed with respect to the exterior and through openings controlled by flaps for ventilating the suction chamber.
