PURPOSE: A structure for installing a brush of a starter motor for a vehicle is provided to simplify an assembling process by elastically support two brushes by means of an elastic member. CONSTITUTION: Two brushes(10,20) are arranged at 90 degrees around a center of a slip ring(30). An elastic member(100) is inserted into a fixing part(50) mounted on the insulating plate to simultaneously pressurize the two brushes(10,20) that are opposite to each other in polarity. An insulating coating material(200) is coated on at least one end of the elastic member(100) for insulation. An end part of the elastic member(100) is formed to pressurize a rear side of the brushes(10,20). The elastic member(100) is a distortion spring in symmetrical manner, such that it elastically functions. Accordingly, the two brushes can be pressurized by using the one elastic member(100). An insulating coating material is coated on a portion that is contacted with the brushes(10,20) of the elastic member(100), thereby preventing the brushes from being applied.
