A pipe (15) leads gas (P2) from the combustion chamber (17) to a compression cylinder (13) that includes a piston (21) to generate a gas (P1) of different pressure. A partial amount of the generated gas of different pressure is led to an electrical driven injection unit which is associated with the combustion chamber. An independent claim is also included for direct injection method for internal combustion engine.
