PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device, capable of forming an image of high quality with the high accuracy of superposing for a toner image of each color. SOLUTION: As for the representative constitution of the image-forming device 1, the device 1 for forming the image on a recording medium is provided with at least an image carrier 19, an exposure means 18 for forming an electrostatic latent image on the image carrier 19, a developing means 23 of each color for developing the latent image of each color formed on the image carrier 19, an intermediate transfer belt 20d where a toner image of every color formed on the image carrier 19 by the developing means 23 is transferred multiply and held, and a secondary transfer roller 22 for transferring the toner image on the belt 20d to the recording medium. Then, a primary transfer part 27 for transferring the toner image formed on the image carrier 19 to the belt 20d is arranged at a position opposed to a latent image forming part 28 on the peripheral surface of the image carrier 19 by 180 deg., and arranged so that the vector of force F exerted on the image carrier 19 by the belt 20d is parallel with the vector of a laser beam A irradiated to the image carrier 19 from the exposure means 18.
