PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a post-mounting cover for a fire fighting water tank capable of keeping the maintenance of the quality of water by mounting the post-mounting cover on the fire fighting water tank without having the cover. SOLUTION: Struts 2 are provided to the bottom 1A of a water tank body 1 from one side to the other side in a row at specific intervals. A cover holding beam 10 is provided on the struts 2 along the struts 2. A horizontal member 5 butting both ends against an inside wall 1B of the water tank body 1 is connected to the struts 2 in the shape of a cross by holding the struts 2. An edge frame 13 is provided on the upper surface of the side wall 1B of the water tank body 1. Cover plates 16 are arranged in the direction at right angles to the cover holding beam 10 to cover an integrally connected cover body 15 on the edge frame 13. The cover plates 16 are fixed to the cover holding beam 10 at a connecting section of the cover plates 16 by a cover plate fixed clamp 18. Both longitudinal ends of the cover plates 16 are fixed to the edge frame 13 by the cover plate fixed clamp 18. A manhole 19 is provided to the cover body 15. A manhole holding beam 20 supported by the struts 2 is provided downward of a manhole 19 by surrounding the manhole 19.
